His father, Charles Sr., had triple-bypass surgery at Gaston Memorial Hospital last August -- two days after he went to his doctor and complained of dizziness. It was a smaller and mostly subdued crowd that turned out at the town hall-style meeting U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry held at CoMMA on Monday night. The crowd was much smaller than those who turned out for similar meetings in Hickory and Mooresville but still larger than in year's past.
