McHenry, who is currently in his third term representing Caldwell County in Washington, received a standing ovation when he took the stage. In his initial remarks, McHenry noted how attendance at this year's town hall was greater than last year.
Speaking before an audience of approximately 400 constituents Thursday night at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., touched on a range of topics, including the federal stimulus, President Barack Obama and, of course, health care reform. McHenry, who is currently in his third term representing Caldwell County in Washington, received a standing ovation when he took the stage.
