Congressman McHenry Recognizes the Soldiers Reunion on the House Floor
Annual event will mark its 134th year this August
Washington - Recently, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) took to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize the annual Soldiers Reunion in Catawba County. The reunion, which will begin on August 10th in Newton, is in its 134th year and is thought to be the longest-running patriotic celebration in the country that is not based on a holiday.
