Press Release
McHenry on the Climate Action Now Act
Washington,
May 3, 2019
Yesterday, the House voted on H.R. 9, the Climate Action Now Act, which would compel the United States to meet the standards of the Paris Climate Agreement. Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) released the following statement on yesterday's vote:
“Instead of voting on another political messaging bill we should focus on what Congress can actually do to address climate change. We should expand clean energy deployment to communities throughout the U.S. and pursue innovative, market-based solutions that help the environment.” |
