Honoring Reverend Billy Graham

 Last Friday, I was proud to introduce a resolution with nine of my North Carolina Congressional colleagues in the House and Senate to honor one of our nation’s great spiritual leaders, Reverend Billy Graham. Having counseled countless American leaders including thirteen Presidents, Dr. Graham will forever be remembered as America’s Pastor. I can think of no more fitting honor than for Dr. Graham to take his place in the U.S. Capitol’s National Statuary Hall Collection. Click here to learn more about the resolution.

Combatting the Left's Radical Climate Agenda

This week, I joined with Senator Tim Scott in demanding answers from the Securities and Exchange Commission about the rationale behind their far-left climate rules. The left is trying to use the SEC to push their radical climate agenda—harming our economy and job creators in the process. Republicans are fighting back to preserve the dominance of our capital markets. A January Inflation Surge

Although President Biden has been claiming that high inflation is a thing of the past, the numbers don’t lie. Inflation surged in January, with energy prices and the cost of food rising. American families are still suffering thanks to the Democrats’ reckless spending.

Recently, I had the chance to visit L.O.V. Home Decor & More in Denver, a nonprofit dedicated to serving local veterans founded by veteran Kevin Popko. From funding a surgery for a veteran's service dog to helping a veteran find housing and a job, L.O.V. is doing a wonderful job helping the veteran community here in the Tenth District.

Two new canines join handlers at North Iredell, Lake Norman high schools

School resource officers have the difficult job of keeping Tenth District students safe while they learn. It is great to see that two high schools are getting new deputies on the job, although these deputies have four legs instead of two! Thank you to all of our hardworking Tenth District law enforcement officers, even the canine officers on the job, for the work you do to help protect our communities.
