Hearing From Community Leaders in the Tenth District
It was good to be in Hickory last week to meet with the Chamber of Catawba and to give an update on what is happening in Washington. I also had the opportunity to hear about the issues most important to folks here in the Tenth District. These community and business leaders shared concerns over the rate of inflation, workforce shortages, and issues with our supply chain. I am grateful for the input and will fight for our business community in Washington.
I was honored to spend time with leaders of municipalities from across the Tenth District on Wednesday in Hickory at the NC League of Municipalities Congressional Luncheon. Our discussion ranged from federal funding opportunities to improving broadband access. Thanks to Hickory Mayor Hank Guess for leading the discussion, and to all those in attendance for their service to our community.
