Today, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) delivered opening remarks at the House Financial Services Committee hearing with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Jerome Powell. The hearing was held to discuss the state of the economy, monetary policy, and the Federal Reserve’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. In his opening remarks Congressman McHenry highlighted the importance of targeted and temporary relief that is directly related to COVID to help the many Americans still suffering from the impact of the pandemic.
