Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) released the following statement after joining with other members of the North Carolina delegation to vote for repeal of ObamaCare. Eight of the thirteen members of the NC delegation, including two Democrats, voted to repeal the law. “With bipartisan support, Congress has listened to the American people and voted to repeal ObamaCare yet again,” Congressman McHenry said. “Increasing taxes on hard-working Americans and small businesses by nearly $800 billion over the next decade will not fix our healthcare system. The President and Democrats in control of the Senate have had years to do the right thing and join us to work on real, patient-centered healthcare reform. This November, the American people can decide the outcome of this debate once and for all.” ### |
