Today, the House Committee on Financial Services held its semi-annual hearing with the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Jerome Powell, on monetary policy and the state of the economy. Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10), the Republican Leader of the House Committee on Financial Services, led the Republican Members in highlighting the regulatory rightsizing championed by Congressional Republicans, the Trump Administration, and implemented by the Fed over the past year, which has played an important role in creating the best U.S. economy in modern history.
