Yesterday, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) signed the discharge petition on H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act to force floor action on this important life-saving bill.

"We need to foster a culture that respects life," said McHenry. "I was proud to add my name to the discharge petition to force a vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This life-saving bill will help to ensure that any child born alive during an abortion is provided the procedures needed for them to survive."
