Today, the House voted on H.R. 1, the Protect the People Act, which is irresponsible and dangerous legislation that suppresses the rights of American voters and will cost taxpayers billions of dollars. On Wednesday, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) delivered a speech on the House Floor  to denounce H.R. 1 as a partisan power grab that hurts American voters.
