McHenry Questions Department of Defense on Ebola Preparedness

Chief Deputy Whip participates in Oversight hearing on government's response to Ebola crisis

Congressman Patrick McHenry, the Chief Deputy Whip, participated in the Oversight and Government Reform Committee's hearing entitled The Ebola Crisis: Coordination of a Multi-Agency Response​.  During the Congressman's five minutes of questions he pushed two witnesses from the Department of Defense, Major General James M. Lariviere and Assistant Secretary Michael Lumpkin, on how prepared the Department is for dealing with an American service member being infected by the Ebola virus.  You can view full video of the exchange by clicking the image below:
